During a military drill on Wednesday, Iran blew up a "life-size replica of a U.S. aircraft carrier," The Jerusalem Post reports.
Two ballistic missiles launched by an Iranian military helicopter completely destroyed the Iranian-built model aircraft carrier in the Strait of Hormuz. Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Revolutionary Guards commander Gen. Ali Jafari attended the military exercise, titled "The Great Prophet."
Last April, Iran announced that it had built the aircraft carrier replica for military drills. "The Americans, and the entire world, know that the American Navy is one of our targets, and it will take us 50 seconds to destroy every U.S. warship," Jafari said.
