Lady Gaga will star in the next season of American Horror Story
Fresh off a buzzy performance at the Academy Awards, Lady Gaga has lined up her next gig: a starring role in the next season of the FX anthology series American Horror Story.
Nothing is known about the role Gaga will play — or even the time period and basic premise of the latest season — but Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that Gaga will be a series regular. In a tweet, Gaga referred to the series as American Horror Story: Hotel, likely confirming the subtitle of the fifth season:
This is Gaga's first meaty role as an actress, but she has turned up in movies like Men in Black 3, Machete Kills, and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, as well as a small, pre-fame role in an episode of The Sopranos.
