Former White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is going to work for Amazon

Former White House press secretary Jay Carney is headed to Amazon to serve as its senior vice president for Worldwide Corporate Affairs.
Carney, a former journalist, will report directly to Amazon chief executive Jeff Bezos, Politico reports. He will begin his job at Amazon on Monday.
Since leaving his White House job in 2013, Carney has appeared as a senior political analyst on CNN, but Politico reports that he will give up his CNN position to "focus full-time on Amazon." Carney will split his time between Amazon's D.C. office and the company's Seattle headquarters.
