Prom night is meant to be unforgettable. And high school seniors enrolled at Cottonwood Classical Preparatory School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, probably won't forget their special night anytime soon if they get their wish of hosting a communism-themed "prom-munism."

The students, who have a reputation for being '"jokesters" who are "really intense about politics," voted online for the communism theme.

CBS Las Vegas reports that the school's executive director, Sam Obenshain, "says he plans to talk to students to make sure that the communism theme is something they want to embrace."
