Snapchat loses its third top executive in two months

COO Emily White is reportedly leaving the social media company wunderkind. The seasoned Silicon Valley executive, who was formerly at Instagram, was hired in 2013. And her exodus marks the third in a line of top executives to leave Snapchat in the last two months.
All of which comes as the photo and video messaging app experiences an insane amount of growth, thanks to a huge investment from Alibaba. How will the suddenly flush kids fair without any adult supervision? Well, not bad, actually. The company has recently shifted from social media into media distribution and publishing. And "so far, the gamble appears to be paying off," says John Paul Titlow at Fast Company.
But chances are, there are plenty more growing pains to come.
