Chuck Norris endorses Benjamin Netanyahu in last-minute ad
Actor and exercise equipment pitchman Chuck Norris on Monday urged Israelis to re-elect Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a campaign ad entitled, "Please vote for Prime Minster Netanyahu!"
"You have an incredible country, and we want to keep it that way," Norris said, adding that his familiarity with Israel includes having filmed three movies there.
The endorsement came one day ahead of Israel's election, which has become surprisingly tight in recent weeks. Norris also endorsed Netanyahu in 2013, and he aided former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee's 2008 presidential campaign with a video riffing on a well-worn meme about his toughness. —Jon Terbush
