If you think a Girls/Late Night mashup wouldn't work, well, Seth Meyers and Lena Dunham want to prove you wrong. On Wednesday night's show, Dunham, in her Hannah Horvath character, took a job in the Late Night writers room. There are plenty of Girls references — and her pitches sound more HBO than NBC — but you don't have to be a fan of Dunham or her show to get the jokes, or laugh at them. Maybe a little uncomfortably.
