The Midland Police Department in Texas detonated 20,000 pounds of illegal fireworks — and they've got the video to prove it.
The explosion took nearly four days, The Wall Street Journal reports. Police told the Journal that they conducted the explosion during the day, because "it was not meant to be a fireworks show." Still, the video is pretty incredible, even if that wasn't the officers' intent. —Meghan DeMaria
