Poll: Half of Americans call Obama's presidency a success

Precisely 50 percent of Americans grade President Obama's tenure in the White House as a success, according to a CNN poll released Thursday. Meanwhile, 47 percent call his presidency a failure.
It's the first time Obama has polled above water on the question since July 2009, when CNN found that 51 percent of adults viewed Obama's presidency as a success.
