Mo'ne Davis believes in second chances, even for her foes. The Little League World Series sensation has asked Bloomsburg University to allow Joey Casselberry to return to the school's baseball team after he got booted over the weekend for an offensive tweet about Davis.
"Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone deserves a second chance," Davis said Monday on SportsCenter. "I know he didn't mean it in that type of way, and I know a lot of people get tired of just seeing me on TV, but sometimes you've got to think about what you're doing before you actually do it."
Casselberry lost his spot on the team after sending a tweet that labeled the teenaged Davis a "slut." He has since deleted the tweet.
