Fox News to Ted Cruz: 'What have you actually accomplished?'
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has a reputation for throwing a wrench in the workings of Washington — but what progress has the freshman lawmaker actually made during his time in the Senate?
That's what Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked the 2016 candidate Tuesday night, inquiring, "What have you actually accomplished?" Cruz responded that he was responsible for "stopping bad things from happening," citing his role in preventing any gun control legislation from passing in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting.
But leaders have to "get things through," an incredulous Kelly said, adding, "You can't just be somebody who stops things."
