These circus elephants stopped a truck from overturning
When a truck carrying three elephants got stuck in mud, the animals saved the day.
The 18-wheeler was carrying the elephants from New Orleans to Frisco, Texas, on Tuesday for a circus. The truck got stuck in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, on Interstate 49.
When police arrived at the scene, they were "astounded" to see that two of the elephants were holding the truck up, according to a statement from the sheriff's office. Deputies called a wrecker service to move the truck, and no citations were issued.
