The Clinton family partied in the Dominican Republic over Christmas, and the Secret Service hotel bill alone came out to $104,093 for a single week. Though the Clintons' own expenses were paid out of pocket, taxpayers got to pick up the tab for their bodyguards' hotel rooms.

Of course, even "out of pocket" is a debatable term when it comes to ex-presidents. Clinton has received more than $16 million in pension money and other tax-funded benefits since leaving office, support he hardly needs when giving million-dollar speeches on the regular.
