Dogs may be man's best friend, but the latest video from our sister site, Mental Floss, proves you could do a lot worse than having a pet pig. Pigs are considered as smart as three-year-old humans, author John Green explains in the video, and they are thought to be smarter than dogs. They're also better than dogs at sniffing out mines and explosives.
If you're a true pig lover, you should consider taking your next vacation to the Bahamas, which is home to an island known as "Pig Beach." Feral pigs relax on the uninhabited island and even swim out to incoming boats.
