HBO Now officially launches
Cord-cutters, rejoice: You can officially start using HBO Now and stop using your ex-boyfriend's mother's cousin's HBO Go login.
The service costs $14.99 a month and is available for Apple TV users and those who use Cablevision's Optimum Internet service. HBO Now will offer access to all of HBO's shows, including Game of Thrones and Veep, which premiere this Sunday night.
Fast Company reports that HBO hopes the service will draw in 10 to 15 million new users, who may have been using other people's HBO Go passwords in the past. New HBO Now users will receive a free month's subscription, so if you're looking for an excuse to binge-watch your favorite HBO show, now is the time to do it.
