After his trip next month to South Dakota, President Obama will have visited all 50 states while in office.

On May 8, he will give the commencement address at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown. The college's president, Mike Cartney, told NBC News he was "overwhelmed and speechless" when he heard the news Obama will deliver the address. "I cannot even begin to explain the feeling," he said. "This is a once-in-a-lifetime phone call."
