And the winners of the 2015 Boston Marathon are...
Lelisa Desisa of Ethiopia easily outpaced the field to win the elite men's division of the race with an unofficial time of 2:09:17. This is Desisa’s second Boston title, having won the year of the bombing in 2013.
Dathan Ritzenhein of Grand Rapids, Michigan, was the top American finisher, coming in seventh with a time of 2:11:20. And defending champion, Meb Keflezighi, finished 8th in 2:12:42.
The elite women's race was a much closer call. Caroline Rotich of Kenya managed to outkick Mare Dibaba of Ethipoia in the last 500 feet, winning with an unofficial time of 2:24:55, just .04 seconds faster than Dibaba.

Desiree Linden of Michigan was the top American finisher, coming in fourth, with a time of 2:25:39.
