University of Kansas frat kicks out 4 members for mocking Muslims

Four members of the Zeta Beta Tau fraternity at the University of Kansas have been expelled from the group after a video was posted online showing a person mocking Muslims.

Chapter president Jason Finkelstein said on Wednesday that the fraternity found out about the video on April 10, and kicked the students out on April 11, The Associated Press reports. Finkelstein said it appears that the clip, which the student newspaper, the University Daily Kansan, says features a man with a blanket wrapped around his face and head saying "Allahu akbar" ("God is great" in Arabic), was posted April 9 on the app Yeti. Over the weekend, the traditionally Jewish fraternity released a statement to the University Daily Kansan saying it takes a "strong stance against bigotry and intolerance in all forms."
