Indiana Pacers star Paul George started his offseason by winning a fishing competition

Who needs the playoffs when you can reel in fishing trophies? So goes the thinking, apparently, for Indiana Pacers star Paul George. The 25-year-old entered — and won — his first fishing tournament on the Geist Reservoir in Indiana on Tuesday.

George's love of the sport — fishing, not basketball — is well-documented: He often takes teammates out to cast a line and catch up off the court. No word on whether they'll be joining him in future fishing tournaments, though.
