Indiana Pacers star Paul George started his offseason by winning a fishing competition

Who needs the playoffs when you can reel in fishing trophies? So goes the thinking, apparently, for Indiana Pacers star Paul George. The 25-year-old entered — and won — his first fishing tournament on the Geist Reservoir in Indiana on Tuesday.

Won my first tournament last night with my bro @wheelerfishing.. These things are pretty intense but I'm hooked now.. Love the competition!A photo posted by Paul George (@ygtrece) on May 6, 2015 at 6:54am PDT
