Tom Brady gets a 4-game suspension for 'Deflategate'

The Patriots' star quarterback will be benched without pay for the first four games of the 2015-2016 season, the NFL announced Monday. The 2015 Super Bowl winners will also be fined $1 million and will forfeit a 2016 first-round pick and a 2017 fourth-round selection in the NFL draft.
The punishment comes a week after an independent investigator found that it was "more probable than not" that New England Patriots staffers deliberately tampered with footballs during the 2015 NFL playoffs and that Brady "was at least generally aware of the inappropriate activities."
In response to the report last week, Brady said he stood by the Patriots' achievements last year.
