They say the Nabi Big Tab ($550) is portable, but "portable" is a relative term. This family-friendly tablet weighs 13 pounds, and if you prop it on its kickstand for viewing, "you'll want to set it up in an environment where there's no possibility of it falling down on your child," says Lakshmi Sandhana at Gizmag. Still, the Big Tab can be moved from room to room as needed, and its 24-inch touch screen proves "a joy to operate when playing multiplayer games with kids." The device can be used to stream TV or films, too, but provides ample educational content and lets parents set time limits on their children's free game play.
