See the harrowing new trailer for True Detective season 2

The newest trailer for True Detective's second season plunges viewers right back into the show's characteristic from-the-depths-of-hell criminal underworld:

This new trailer focuses on the second season's star-studded cast, which includes Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams, Colin Farrell, and Taylor Kitsch. Most details are still under wraps, but the story follows Paul Woodrugh (Kitsch), a California Highway Patrol cop who discovers a crime scene that pits three law enforcement groups against a conspiratorial web of criminals.

True Detective's sophomore season debuts June 21.
