That was fast. Just a week after Fox canceled the Mindy Kaling sitcom The Mindy Project — to the outcry of its small but vocal fanbase — Hulu has resurrected it for a full 26 episodes.

Though its ratings have always been low, The Mindy Project is a logical fit for Hulu, where it routinely ranks among the most popular shows available for streaming. "I am thrilled The Mindy Project has found a new home on Hulu, where so many of our fans are already watching the show," said Mindy Kaling in a statement. "It's such an exciting place to be."
