Police over the weekend arrested 192 people after a melee between rival bike gangs in Waco, Texas, left nine people dead and close to 20 wounded.
The fight broke out Sunday at the Twin Peaks restaurant, where five gangs assembled for a meeting, according to police. The fighting is believed to have begun in the bathroom and spilled out into the rest of the restaurant, escalating to involve guns, knives and other weapons; police said they recovered around 100 weapons from the scene.
"In 34 years of law enforcement, this is the most violent crime scene I have ever been involved in," Waco police officer W. Patrick Swanton told the Waco Tribune-Herald.
