Only in America: Student punished for sharing hot pepper with classmates

A Long Island, New York, high school student was suspended for bringing an extra spicy pepper to school. Nick Lien shared his bhut jolokia, or "ghost pepper," with two classmates, who wanted to see how hot it really was. When they went to the nurse with burning tongues and red faces, Lien was called to the principal's office. "I was told that it's equivalent to giving someone LSD," said Lien.
