Victoria Beckham sang 'Mein Herr' from Cabaret for her Spice Girls audition

More than 20 years after Victoria Beckham got her start with the massively successful pop group Spice Girls, she discussed her humble beginnings in an interview published by Us Weekly Friday.

While the future Posh Spice would go on to perform such chart toppers as "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life," she bizarrely chose the dramatic, heavy "Mein Herr" from Cabaret to win the job.
It "was really, really not the right thing to do but it got me in the group," said Beckham. Read the whole interview here.
