LeBron bought all of his teammates Apple Watches before the finals
LeBron James might be stealing the spotlight from his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates on offense, but you can't say he didn't earn their support. James bought each of his teammates an Apple Watch before Game 1 of the NBA finals against the Golden State Warriors, The Plain Dealer reports.
As a way of getting everyone to relax, James rented a lounge at the team's hotel in San Francisco and gave them a pep talk about the games ahead — a casual pep talk involving food, music, a barber, and new wearable tech for all.
"I don't know how he does it, but every day it's something different," teammate J.R. Smith said. "Watches, sneakers, Beats [headphones], hoodies, book bags. Man, I can't wait to come back next year. I want to see what we're getting next year."
