SUV jumps curb, kills 2 high schoolers in Washington State
On Wednesday, an SUV in Ferndale, Washington, ran up onto a sidewalk and into a group of about 30 high school students out for a gym-class walk, killing two boys and seriously injuring two others. Washington State Trooper Mark Francis said that the 34-year-old driver, William Klein, was arrested on suspicion of vehicular homicide and vehicular assault. The driver originally said he had fallen asleep but later admitted he had used drugs, Francis added. Neither Klein nor his 3-year-old son in the back seat were injured in the incident. You can learn more about the tragic accident, north of Seattle, in the Associated Press video below. Peter Weber
