Gunmen fire on officers outside Dallas police headquarters

Multiple gunmen fired on Dallas police officers outside their headquarters early Saturday, The Associated Press reports. Police also found two explosives in the area, one of which detonated.
No injuries have been reported. Nearby residents were evacuated as a precaution. Authorities have not determined the exact number of suspects, but it could be as many as four, based on witness accounts.
The suspects fired from an armored van parked outside the building and are now in a standoff with officers at a nearby Jack in the Box parking lot. The driver said he blames police for losing custody of his son and "accusing him of being a terrorist."
