A 10-year-old boy visiting Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, from Georgia was bitten by a shark Wednesday afternoon.

The boy, who has not been identified, was bit on the calf while in chest-deep water, WESH Orlando reports. He suffered minor lacerations and was treated on the scene, Volusia County Beach Safety Ocean Rescue says, and the beach remained open. This is the fourth reported shark bite in Volusia County this year, and came just days after two teens lost their left arms in two separate shark attacks in North Carolina.
