Rapper Rick Ross has been arrested in Fayette County, Georgia, and is currently being held on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery.
A law enforcement source tells TMZ that Ross' arrest on Wednesday stems from a dispute with a man working on one of his homes around two weeks ago. The source alleges that the assault charge is for a pistol-whipping, and the kidnapping charge is for Ross' alleged refusal to let the man leave the house.
Ross was arrested on Wednesday morning by the U.S. Marshals Service at his Georgia mansion. Though someone inside initially refused to open the mansion's gate to the law enforcement officials, the front door was eventually opened voluntarily, and Ross and his bodyguard were arrested without incident.
