Watch the first trailer for the final Paranormal Activity movie

Found footage, a haunted house, a creepy little girl, an overconfident priest, 3-D... it's hard to think of a modern horror movie cliché that isn't lustily embraced by the first trailer for Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension:

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension is the sixth (and purportedly final) entry in the horror franchise. "We're not going to grind this horror franchise into the ground," said producer Jason Blum in an interview with USA Today. "This will keep Paranormal Activity as part of this culture and this particular time in a really fantastic way." Of course, Blum also acknowledges that there may eventually be a Paranormal Activity reboot, so don't take your ghost-capturing camcorders to the pawn shop just yet.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension hits theaters in October.
