Wish-Bone recalls nearly 10,000 cases of ranch salad dressing

The makers of Wish-Bone salad dressing just recalled nearly 10,000 cases of its ranch dressing after a consumer alerted the company that the ranch dressing was mixed with blue cheese dressing.
While some may consider the contaminant to be little more than a stinky surprise, the recall is no laughing matter, as blue cheese dressing contains eggs, a potentially life-threatening allergen for some people. No illnesses have been reported as of this point, and the company says that the dressing is perfectly fine for people without egg allergies to consume.
The recall is on Wish-Bone Ranch 24-ounce bottles with a best if used-by date of Feb. 17, 2016. Consumers can call the company at 888-299-7646 to get a full refund on any contaminated bottles.
