Former Saved by the Bell actor Dustin Diamond was sentenced to four months in jail Thursday for stabbing a man in a Port Washington, Wisconsin, bar last Christmas.

Last month, a jury found the 38-year-old guilty of two misdemeanor charges in connection with the fight, court documents say. "I want it to be clear that this situation will not be repeated again," Diamond told the court. Saying the fight was the "single most terrifying experience of my entire life," he apologized for fighting on "a night that centers around celebrating peace and love."
