Get nostalgic chills from the first trailer for the Goosebumps movie

Viewer beware... you're in for a scare. Years and years after creeping out any kid brave enough to pick them up at a Scholastic book fair, R.L. Stine's Goosebumps series is bound for the big screen — and the first trailer shows how they've managed to condense 62 separate books into a coherent movie:
Goosebumps follows Zach (Dylan Minnette), the new kid in town, as he makes the acquaintance of his neighbor R.L. Stine (Jack Black). When Zach discovers and opens the original Goosebumps manuscripts, an army of monsters from the series — including Slappy the Dummy, the Abominable Snowman of Pasadena, and the vengeful Lawn Gnomes — escape and wreak havoc on the town.
Goosebumps is clearly aiming for the sweet spot commonly called "fun for the whole family": nostalgia for the 20-somethings who grew up reading the books, and goofy chills for the kids who will discover the Goosebumps books after watching the movie. We'll see if they hit the mark when Goosebumps arrives in October.
