Comics legend Berkeley Breathed is reviving Bloom County — and he's already targeting Donald Trump

After 25 years, comics legend Berkeley Breathed is returning to his most famous creation. Bloom County — the beloved newspaper comic that satirized American politics and culture using a wide array of colorful characters — will return, Breathed announced in a Facebook post on Sunday:

Though he ended Bloom County in 1989, Breathed previously expanded the comic's universe with the spin-off strips Outland and Opus. Why return to the flagship series now? According to a Facebook post by Breathed, he "can't precisely deny" that Donald Trump's presidential campaign had nothing to do with it.
