Kristin Chenoweth, James Corden coyly dissect late-night TV with modified Bob Seger hit

Yes, "Why Don't We Chat" is a spoof of Bob Seger's "We've Got Tonight" (closer to the Kenny Rogers/Sheena Easton version) on James Cordon's Late Late Show, but it's also a pretty wicked send-up of the late-night talk genre. The premise is that guest Kristin Chenoweth doesn't want to do the show, because she's tired, and that Corden sweet-talks her into coming onstage with a less-than-romantic appeal to her celebrity duties. If that sounds dreary, it isn't, and Corden and Chenoweth are in fine vocal form as they mock each other and their livelihoods. Watch below, and watch for the brief Denis Leary cameo. Peter Weber
