A college student in Georgia called a radio station to complain about her parents' refusal to pay her senior-year tuition after she spent much of her $90,000 college fund on clothes and a trip to Europe. "I know they are trying to teach me a lesson and blah, blah, blah," said the 22-year-old caller, identified only as Kim. Getting a college loan and a job to pay bills, she said, "can have such a negative effect on my grades and as a person."
