Sandra Bland's autopsy shows no indication of homicide, prosecutors say

An autopsy of Sandra Bland, the 28-year-old African-American woman who was found dead in her Texas jail cell earlier this month, lacked any evidence suggesting her death was a homicide, authorities announced Thursday.

Waller County Assistant District Attorney Warren Diepraam added that the medical examiner did not find any head and neck injuries typically associated with homicide, or any defensive marks on her hands.
