Sixteen years ago, Michael J. Fox quipped to Jon Stewart, "In fact, I've been on The Daily Show more than you have." As Stewart prepares for his final episode of The Daily Show Thursday night, he can now say he has definitively one-upped Fox, with nearly 2,600 episodes under his belt as host of the Comedy Central show.
However, if the first episode proves anything, it's that Stewart had talent from the start. While he might have spent "over an hour and a half before the show deciding whether to button [his suit coat] or not" for the first episode, he nailed the interview like he'd been doing it for, well, 16 years.
