Stephen Colbert wasn't the only former Daily Show correspondent to appear on Jon Stewart's final show. If you sometimes forget all the talent that got its start under Stewart's long reign at the show, they all showed up on Thursday's finale to remind you. Seriously, all of them. And that's not all. The opening started out with a fairly routine bit about covering the Republican debate, with Stewart throwing to his three regular correspondents in the field. Then the former correspondents and contributors started trickling in:
A bit later, Rob Riggle appeared to save Stewart from his enemies, and just as you started to wonder who he's talking about, many of Stewart's most frequently mocked politicians and news media personalities came on to return the favor. "That stings," Stewart said. "I'm not going to say that didn't sting a little bit":
Finally, Stewart made his awkward public peace with ex-correspondent Wyatt Cenac, who got in a fairly ugly fight with Stewart, and John Oliver put the icing on the all-star cake. Watch the final scene unfold below. Peter Weber
