Trump says being our fifth straight Ivy League president is how he will fix America

Republican blatherskite Donald Trump's latest argument for his candidacy is his Ivy League education, which he suggests gave him the right mindset to deal with trade rivals like China. "I went to an Ivy League school," he said on Wednesday, referring to his business school alma mater, the University of Pennsylvania, as the "best in the world."

"That's the kind of thinking our country needs, that mindset," he continued. "The fact is, that's the kind of mindset or thinking we need to beat China on trade." Trump neglected to mention that the last four presidents — from George H.W. Bush to Barack Obama — all attended Ivy League institutions, as did six other 20th century presidents.

Earlier this week, Trump also announced that he is the "most fabulous whiner" in the 2016 race and will whine his way to victory.
