Perhaps Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel will redeem himself from a rookie season so disastrous both on the field and off that one of his teammates anonymously told ESPN he was a "complete joke."
The much-hyped Heisman Trophy winner out of Texas A&M came into the season opener against the New York Jets on Sunday after starter Josh McCown sustained a concussion in the second quarter.
He completed two passes on his first drive, the second being a 54-yarder to Travis Benjamin that put Cleveland on the board. Not bad for his first career touchdown pass, eh?
