More than a year after falling into a coma following a traffic collision in New Jersey, actor and comedian Tracy Morgan made a surprise appearance at the 67th annual Emmy Awards to award the trophy for Best Drama Series.
"I miss you guys so much," said Morgan after a rousing standing ovation. "Last year, Jimmy Kimmel stood on this stage and said, 'We'll see you back here next year, Tracy Morgan.' Well, Jimmy, thanks to my amazing doctors, the support of my family, and my beautiful new wife, I'm here."
Though Morgan was clearly emotional, he delivered a few jokes that showed his sense of humor made it through the ordeal intact. "Only recently, I've started to feel like myself again," he said. "Which means a whole lot of y'all women are gonna get pregnant at the afterparty."
