Prosecutor: Mother's boyfriend said 'Baby Doe' was a demon

The man charged with murdering Bella Bond, Boston's "Baby Doe," allegedly told Bond's mother the child was a demon and that it was "her time to die," a prosecutor said during Monday's arraignment, BuzzFeed News reports.
Rachelle Bond, Bella's mother, allegedly went to the 2-year-old's bedroom one night and found her boyfriend, Michael McCarthy, standing over Bella, whose head appeared swollen and gray. The two then allegedly put Bella's body in a refrigerator before depositing it in the Boston Harbor with weights attached.
The body of "Baby Doe" had gone unidentified for months until authorities received a tip leading to the child's identity earlier in September.
