No one was injured Sunday when a curtain backdrop collapsed during a speech by Carly Fiorina at the National Women's Business Conference in San Antonio.
Several women ran to shield the Republican presidential candidate as frame piping and cloth fell to the ground, NBC 5 reports. Fiorina later joked about the incident, telling the audience: "Ladies, I'm plenty tough enough to be commander in chief." This was Fiorina's first campaign stop in Texas.
