A man working on the HGTV Dream Home property in Merritt Island, Florida, was electrocuted Monday and then fell into the Indian River Lagoon, Brevard County Sheriff's investigators said.

The unidentified man was working on a boat dock when the incident occurred, and his death is being investigated as an accident, USA Today reports. Neighbors say construction on the home, which will be given away by HGTV later this year, began in May. Paramedics arrived at the scene at about 2 p.m., and found the electrical worker, who is believed to be in his 30s, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead by doctors at Cape Canaveral Hospital, the Brevard County Sheriff's Office said. HGTV has yet to comment.
