Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert like each other too much to be rivals
Jimmy Kimmel is hosting his late night show in Brooklyn next week, so he used his East Coast trip as an excuse to pop by Stephen Colbert's The Late Show on Friday.
The two hosts acknowledged their friendship comes in stark contrast to the longtime feud between two ghosts of late night past, David Letterman and Jay Leno.

"I like you, too," Kimmel responded. "I might even love you. If you died, I'd cry like a baby."
Colbert responded with a quick quip: "If I didn't have a show I'd come to your funeral."
