Adele announces new album, 25
Four years after dominating the charts and the Grammys with her smash-hit album 21, Adele has formally announced a new album called — what else? — 25.
"My last record was a breakup record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record," Adele wrote in a lengthy announcement post on her official Facebook page. "I'm making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. [...] 25 is about getting to know who I've become without realizing. And I'm sorry it took so long, but you know, life happened."
Adele's announcement comes on the heels of a mysterious, very-Adele sounding song clip that aired during a commercial break for The X-Factor:

Her Facebook post — beginning, like that song snippet, "Hello..." — offers a pretty clear hint about what the lead single might be whenever 25 actually drops.
