Jeb Bush on Supergirl: She's 'pretty hot'

Jeb Bush doesn't know what's up with the superhero questions he keeps getting asked, but he played along during an event in Las Vegas on Wednesday when his interviewer asked him to pick a favorite Marvel Universe character.
"I like watching the movies," Bush said. "I wish I owned Marvel, as someone who believes in capitalism."
As he continued to hesitate over which superhero to pick, Bush finally confessed that he's "kinda old school" and likes Batman. It was the first sign of trouble — as every good comic book nerd knows, Batman isn't Marvel, he's DC.

But Bush was clearly struggling as he tripped into his next comment: "I saw that Supergirl is on TV, I saw it when I was working out this morning. There's an ad promoting Supergirl. She looked kinda — she looked pretty hot," Bush said, referring to CBS's new show Supergirl, also a DC franchise, starring Glee actress Melissa Benoist. Bush kept going: "I don't know what channel it's on, but I'm looking forward to that."
While the moderator tried to move on to his next question, a thoughtful look crossed Bush's face. "That'll make news," he reflected. Watch below. Jeva Lange
